BactoAttaQ® technology takes a unique approach with long-lasting antimicrobial protection on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces. Microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, algae, yeasts and specific viruses (esp. coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (causative agent of COVID-19), TGEV coronavirus, influenza A H1N1) are killed physically instead of by conventional poisoning or destruction of key vital life processes. Laboratory and field studies show a long-lasting reduction of those microorganisms of up to 99.99% on surfaces treated with BactoAttaQ® for longer than 1 year. Under real environmental conditions, self-disinfection takes place within every hour.
The reduction of microorganisms takes place on a physical level, instead of conventional chemical methods. BactoAttaQ® forms a protective layer of tiny spikes of positively charged nitrogen molecules. These attract the negatively charged cell wall of the microorganisms, which leads to the destruction of the cell wall and the decay of the germ through contact with the tips.
When properly applied and maintained, the antimicrobial coating lasts for over a year. Re-treatment of the relevant surfaces should therefore be repeated after ± 12 months.
BactoAttaQ® for non-absorbent surfaces: Plastics, fiberglass, metals, glass, wood, ceramics and more. Applicable to commodities: e.g. sanitary supplies and accessories, cell phones, tablets, keyboards, door handles, handrails, countertops, non-food contact kitchen appliances and counters, furniture, flooring and more. BactoAttaQ® for absorbent surfaces: fabrics and upholstery, fabrics (natural and synthetic, woven and non-woven), leather (natural and synthetic). Utility items: awnings, footwear (indoor), carpets and carpet underlays and many more.
The antimicrobial effect of BactoAttaQ® starts 1 hour after application. The treated surface can only be used after complete drying, depending on the material properties, but at the earliest after 6 hours. Avoid contact before the drying or curing time has elapsed.
BactoAttaQ® provides excellent long-term protection even between regular disinfection and cleaning cycles. Cleaning of the cured BactoAttaQ® surface coating can be carried out with common household cleaners in the pH range 4-10. No aggressive, corrosive or abrasive cleaners should be used.
No. BactoAttaQ® is not mutagenic. Due to the physical mode of action, the formation of resistance can be excluded.

The BactoAttaQ® products can be delivered for end users to a desired address in Germany and Austria.

Please note that your shipment will be sent either by DHL parcel, DHL merchandise mail or postal letter, depending on the order quantity and packaging size. Tracking is only possible for DHL parcels and DHL merchandise mail.
