Antimicrobial surface protection against bacteria and viruses.
BactoAttaQ® is a long-lasting antimicrobial surface protection that reduces up to 99.99% of bacteria, fungi, algae, yeasts and specific viruses¹ (including SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A (H1N1). Once applied and cured, the self-disinfecting protective layer remains on the treated surface for longer than 1 year.
The long-lasting effect continuously reduces the germ load on surfaces and thus the risk of smear infections.
For holistic hygiene protection
BactoAttaQ® was originally developed in 2018 as an antimicrobial surface protection against multi-resistant bacteria such as MRSA to optimize hygiene standards in care facilities and hospitals in the long term.
To expand the potential uses of BactoAttaQ®, further testing by independent laboratories followed for specific viruses, such as Influenza A virus (H1N1) and most recently the SARS-CoV-2 virus, all of which were positive.
This makes BactoAttaQ® the ideal complement to conventional hygiene measures and disinfection procedures.
Long-term protection on almost all surfaces
BactoAttaQ® is available as a spray and as ready-to-use wipes, which makes it ideal for both private and commercial use. The BactoAttaQ® product variants can be used to treat non-absorbent surfaces (such as metal, wood or plastics) as well as absorbent surfaces (such as textiles, upholstery or leather).
The mode of action is the same for all BactoAttaQ® product variants, which is why there are virtually no limits to the areas in which BactoAttaQ® can be used.
Innovative mode of action
In contrast to conventional methods, BactoAttaQ® works in a physical way.
BactoAttaQ® forms a protective layer of tiny spikes of positively charged nitrogen molecules on the treated surface. These attract the negatively charged cell wall of the microorganisms, which leads to the destruction of the cell wall and the decay of the germ through contact with the tips.
BactoAttaQ’s innovative process has been dermatologically rated “very good” and rules out the possibility of resistance forming.
